Developing Dong Nai culture in 2025-2030 period

On September 11, the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to implement Government Resolution No. 114/NQ-CP on the rollout of National Assembly Resolution No. 162/2024/QH15, which approves the investment policy for the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025–2030 period in Dong Nai province.

According to the plan, Dong Nai will carry out a comprehensive and serious implementation aimed at driving significant progress in building and refining the system of Vietnamese cultural values, people, and families. The province will also focus on preserving and promoting cultural heritage, enhancing spiritual well-being, and improving public access to cultural activities.

Specific targets set: Sustain and enhance the operational effectiveness of cultural institutions at both provincial and grassroots levels; aim to restore and preserve 95% of special national relics and 70% of national relics; ensure at least 75% of people in remote, isolated, and ethnic minority areas have access to cultural activities.

In addition, the goals include fostering the comprehensive development of Dong Nai people in terms of ideology, character, ethics, intellect, creativity, physical well-being, and spirit; accelerating digital transformation and ensuring cultural investment accounts for at least 2% of total annual budget expenditure.

The provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and localities to implement the plan and ensure the fulfillment of the set goals and targets. Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television will produce special pages, columns, articles, reports, and thematic features on the implementation process of the program across all levels and sectors.
