Over 300 contestants participate in "Love your country by your own way" painting competition

(ĐN) - On July 27, Dong Nai Provincial Children's House, in coordination with SNA Marianapolis International School - Bien Hoa Campus in Tran Bien Ward, organized a painting competition with the theme "Love your country by your own way" 2025.

The competition attracted 306 students from grade 1 to 9, studying at primary and secondary schools in the province and some contestants from Lam Dong province; including 207 primary school contestants (Table A) and 99 secondary school contestants (Table B). In over 3 hours, the contestants painted to express their love for their homeland, country, and people of Vietnam.

Truong Hai Thi, Director of Dong Nai Provincial Children's House, stated that the "Love your country by your own way" painting competition is a summer activity of the Dong Nai Provincial Children's House; it is also a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (19-8-1945 - 19-8-2025) and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2-9-1945 - 2-9-2025).

Through the competition, the organizing board hopes to create a playground for children to express their artistic abilities, thereby discovering, nurturing, and developing their talents.

After one session of competition, the organizing board evaluated that the contestants had invested effort, with many paintings showing creativity, diverse compositions and colors; the content closely followed the theme and conveyed the message of patriotism from many different angles...

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in Table A to contestant Dang Bich Mai, Ha Huy Giap Primary School in Trang Dai Ward and the first prize in Table B to contestant Hoang Do Phuong Anh, a student of Vinh Tan Secondary School in Tan An Commune.

In addition, the organizing board awarded 6 second prizes, 8 third prizes, and 20 consolation prizes to contestants in both tables. All contestants participating in the competition received certificates from SNA Marianapolis International School - Bien Hoa Campus.

The winning paintings will be exhibited at SNA Marianapolis International School - Bien Hoa Campus and Dong Nai Children's House in August.

In the same morning, a workshop for teachers and parents was held at SNA Marianapolis International School - Bien Hoa Campus, with the theme "Accompanying children in the new era," helping parents understand and accompany children in their development process.
