The event is under the “Tet – One Home” programme which was launched by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and Saigon Beer – Alcohol – Beverage Corporation (SABECO) on December 21.

The programme will also present 800 Tet gifts to workers and students in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Binh Duong and Dong Nai, as well as Youth Union members and volunteers on the front lines against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The programme will take place on January 24 – 28, 2022.

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Ngoc Luong said that the programme is expected to approach people in need during the traditional Tet, helping to spread the community gratitude to the silent dedication and sacrifices of the front line forces and the core workforce of society.

He added that through specific actions, the programme will create opportunities for beneficiaries to return to their homeland and enjoy Tet holiday with their family as well as welcoming 2022 with hope, joy and optimism.

General Director of SABECO Bennett Neo said that 2021 is a difficult time for Vietnam, including businesses and people from all walks of life. However, the more challenges there are, the stronger the willpower and solidarity of the Vietnamese people shine. This is the best time for the community to come closer together and tighten the spirit of solidarity to be stronger together, he noted.
