After scoring three golds and two silvers on the first day of the event, athletes from Dong Nai province won additional seven golds, seven silvers and two bronzes on the on the next days to finish the tournament with ten golds, nine silvers and two bronzes.
The tournament attracted the participation of 198 athletes from 16 provinces, cities and sectors across the country, competing for 77 sets of medals at the tournament, including 43 sets of swimming medals and 34 sets of diving medals.
