On the first day of the event, athletes from Dong Nai province scored three golds and two silvers.
The tournament has attracted the participation of 198 athletes from 16 provinces, cities and sectors across the country, competing for 77 sets of medals at the tournament, including 43 sets of swimming medals and 34 sets of diving medals.
The tournament is scheduled to last until November 30.
