The tournament, which is jointly organized by the Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation and Sam Son city’s People’s Committee, drew the participation of nearly 300 athletes from 13 teams from across the country, including Dong Nai team, competing for medals in the men’s and women’s doubles, and team categories.
The tournament is an ideal platform for localities to share experience in sepak takraw training and learn from each other, while providing an opportunity to select outstanding athletes for the national team to compete at the upcoming SEA Games 31.
