Desriac finished first in the 12km race around Tam Chuc Tourist Area, Ha Nam province with a time of 13 minutes 6.66 seconds. Javier Perez and Nguyen Tuan Vu of Vinama HCM city were the runners-up.
After two stages, French rider Loic Desriac took the lead from Le Nguyet Minh of Vinama HCM city to hold the yellow jersey.
With the result, Desriac helped Bike Life Dong Nai rank first in the team rankings, followed by Vinama HCM city and Hat Ngoc Troi Rice An Giang.
The third stage from Phu Ly city of Ha Nam province to Sam Son city of Thanh Hoa province, lasting 130 km, took place this morning.
