After 7 days of competition, Ha Noi topped the competition with 27 gold, 15 silver and 11 bronze medals, followed by Ha Tinh with 12 gold, 3 silver and 10 bronze medals and Da Nang with 7 gold, 8 silver and 8 bronze medals.
Meanwhile, Dong Nai concluded the competition with 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, and ranked 18th in the medal tally.
The tournament, which is jointly held by the Vietnam Athletics Federation and Tay Ninh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, attracted over 1,000 young athletes aged 14-20, representing 59 delegations from across the country, competing for 112 sets of medals in categories of running, jogging, long jump, high jump, triple jump, shot-put and discus throwing.
