(ĐN)- The 15th Vinh Cuu district open cycling tournament entitled “Returning to War Zone D” took place in the district early on October 25 at General Vo Nguyen Giap’s Temple in Tan An commune.

The event attracted nearly 400 cyclists from 26 clubs across the province, competing in five categories for amateur, professional and elderly cyclists.
As a result, Le Quoc Cuong from District 9 of HCM city and Nguyen Thanh Nam from Vinh Cuu district came first in the competition for professionals aged 16-40 and 41-45 . Do Thu Hien, Nguyen Huu Tan from Vinh Cuu district’s Thanh Phu commune went first in the category for female and elderly racers. Meanwhile, Nguyen Hoa Binh ranked first in the category for amateurs.
The annual race was held by the district’s People Committee under the sponsorship of Dong Nai Agriculture Service Cooperative Alliance (DonaCoop) aimed to response the “Following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” campaign.
