(ĐN)- After three months of launching, the organizers of the fifth journalism photography contest, titled “Khoanh khac vang” (Golden Moment) has received over 3,000 entries taken by 302 photographers nationwide.
The jury of the competition has chosen outstanding photos to award one first, one second, three third and five consolation prizes.
Of the awardees, Tran Son from Long Khanh Photography Club in Dong Nai province won a second prize for his work “Cu tiep dat” (Landing). The award ceremony will be held in Ha Noi on January 18.
The photo contest, which is jointly held by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, offers a space for journalists and photographers to reflect all aspects of society, ranging from politics, economics, culture and sports, to science and technology, and show their points of view on hot current issues of the nation.
