Meanwhile, Quang Van Cuong of Gao Hat Ngoc Troi An Giang won green jersey as the best sprinter while both the red jersey award as the King of Mountain and the white jersey went to Phan Hoang Thai of Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap.
Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap won the team’s race with a time of 60:30.06, followed by Gao Hat Ngọc Troi An Giang and Ynghua Dong Nai. Bikelife Dong Nai ranked fifth after An Giang Plant Protection.
The annual event attracted the participation of nearly 70 cyclists from 11 teams nationwide, competing in seven stages covering a near 800km long course.
The event had a total prize of VND400 million of which the winner of the overall yellow jersey award walked away with VND60 million.
