(ĐN)- The 8th Long Thanh district Sports Festival kicked off on Saturday at the district’s stadium, attracting the participation of 5,000 people from 36 delegations in the district. This is the fifth locality in Dong Nai province to organize a sport festival.

Taking place from March 2017, the festival attracted more than 2,000 athletes from 15 teams in the district, competing 16 games including football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, tennis, tug or war, stick pushing, swimming, Chinese chess, Tai chi exercise, taekwondo, vovinam, karate, traditional martial arts marathon and track and field.

Outstanding athletes will be selected for the town to compete at the upcoming 8th Dong Nai Sports Festival.
The festival will conclude on November 2.
