(ĐN)- A get-together for Cambodian and Laos students who are studying in Dong Nai was held on April 7 to celebrate Laos’s Bun Pi May and Cambodia’s Chol Chnam Thmay New Year Festivals.

The event was attended by Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep, Vice Chairman of People’s Council Pham Ngoc Tuan, Lao Consul General in HCM City Somxay Sana-Oune, Cambodian Consul General in HCM City Im Hen, and 181 Cambodian and Laos students studying at 9 colleges and universities across the province.
Addressing the event, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep extended her New Year greetings to the students and confirmed that the province would continue to create best conditions for Cambodian and Laos students during their study in Dong Nai.
On this occasion, the provincial leaders presented souvenir gifts to the Consulate Generals and students.
