Chairman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Van Toi, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep, and Deputy Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education Pham Tan Linh attended the event.
At the ceremony, the participants reviewed traditions, offered incense and laid wreathes to commemorate the legend of the nations forefathers, the Hung Kings.

Earlier, a cooking contest of traditional “chung” and “giay” cakes, dragon-and-phoenix-shaped fruit decoration, and cultural performances drew teams across the city.
On April 5, a ceremony to celebrate the death anniversary of Hung Kings was also organized at Hung Vuong junior school in Bien Hoa city.
