The event saw the participation of over 2,000 amateur and professional marathoners from across the province, competing in categories for amateur teams and professional individuals for both men and women.
At the end of the competition, Nguyen Thi Truc Linh from Cam My district went first in category for female youths. Meanwhile, Nguyen van Loc from Trang Bom district and Le van Hoang from Long Thanh district came in first in categories for male teenagers and male youths. In the category for teams, Long Khanh town won the first place.
The tournament, which was co-held by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the provincial Trade Union for Civil Servants and the provincial Youth Union, is part of activities to celebrate 42 years of the Southern Liberation Day and the International Labor Day.
