(ĐN)- The 10th Vinh Cuu district open cycling tournament-Donacoop cup entitled “Return to war zone” took place in the district on Saturday.

The event attracted 148 cyclists from 11 clubs across the province, competing in three categories for amateur, professional and elderly racers.
As a result, Nguyen Thanh Son from Vinh Cuu district’s Thanh Phu cycling club came first in the competition for professionals. Mean while, Trang Van Dung, also from Thanh Phu cycling club, went first in the category for elderly racers, and Tran Van Son, who is also from the district’s Thanh Phu cycling club, ranked first in the amateurs’ competition.
The annual race was held by the district’s People Committee under the sponsorship of Dong Nai branch of Viettel and Dong Nai Agriculture Service Cooperative Alliance (DonaCoop) to celebrate the 69th founding anniversary of the district-based War Zone D as well as to response the “Following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” campaign.
