In the first stage of the race, Mai Cong Hieu from Golden Bear Club of HCM city came first while Nguyen Quoc Dung from Vo Dac-Bien Hoa Club of Dong Nai province, were second and Nguyen Hoang Sang from Vung Tau Club of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province went third in the category for grade A cyclists.
In the category for grade B cyclists, Vo Thanh Phong from Dong Tam Team, Nguyen Van Thanh Chi from Huy Tung Club, Nguyen Truong Son from Sai Gon Velo Club went first, second, and third, respectively.
The second stage will take place on May 16.
The annual tournament is jointly held by Binh Duong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Binh Duong Television Station, attracting nearly 200 cyclists from 25 clubs in southern provinces, including Dong Nai.
