The information was released at the meeting held on Monday in HCM city by the Viet Nam Football Federation to announced the regulations, draw and schedule arrangement for the championship.
The teams have been divided into two groups. Group A includes Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan, Kon Tum, Lam Đong, Palace Khanh Hoa, Dong Nai Youth and Viettel, while Group B has the participation of Ben Tre, Ca Mau, Long An, Mancons Sai Gon, Tien Giang, Vinh Long và XM Fico Tay Ninh.
They will compete in a two-leg, round-robin format. The top two teams of each group will advance to the final round. The top three teams of the division will be promoted, while the team that comes last will be relegated.
The final round will be held from July 3 to 6.
