(ĐN)- Dong Nai will host the 2015 National Teenage Athletics Championships which is scheduled to take place between March 11 and 15 at Dong Nai Stadium, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The young athletes aged 12-17 from across the country will compete 66 sets of medals in categories of hurdle, jogging, long jump, high jump, triple jump, short-put, javelin and discus throwing.
The tournament aims to promote the athletics training movement in society as well as offer a good chance for young Vietnamese athletes to practice and sharpen their skills, and select best athletes for the forthcoming international athletic competitions.
