At the end of the stage, Nguyen Thanh Nam from HTH Bien Hoa Club came first followed by Truong Ngoc Tuan and Le Van Dong from Gau Vang (Golden Bear) Club of HCM city in the 16-55 age category, clocking a time of one hour and 23 minutes.
With this result, Nam, who was born in 1977, also won the first prize in the 36-55 age category.
The tournament is jointly held by Binh Duong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Binh Duong Television Station, attracting 96 cyclists from 18 clubs in southern provinces and HCM city.
The race is divided into six stages which will take place every two months with a total prize of nearly VND300 million.
