(ĐN)- The Dong Nai football team will compete in the qualifying round of the 2014 Thanh Nien (Young People) Newspaper National Under-21 Football Championship that starts on August 14.
The annual tournament attracts 21 under-21 football teams participating in 5 groups.
Dong Nai will play in group D held in Khanh Hoa province with 4 other teams including Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh city and hosts Sana Khanh Hoa.
The top team from each group and the one second-place teams with the most points will advance to the final contest where they will battle host Can Tho and reigning champs Ha Noi T&T.
