The four-day cuisine festival featured cooking demonstrations that showcase Vietnamese delicacies from across the southern region.
About 60 businesses, restaurants and hotels have provided more than 100 booths offering freshly-made food for visitors to sample.
At the festival, Nguyen Thanh Liem, chef of Buu Long Investment and Development Company in Bien Hoa city won two A prizes in the “Southern region special dishes” compettion.
Jointly held by the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the HCM City Tourism Association, the annual event aims to introduce the unique cuisine culture of the Vietnamese people, especially those living in the south, to local and international tourists.
