(ĐN)- The Southern Fruit Festival 2014 at the Suoi Tien Park in HCM City’s District 9 opened on June 1.
At the festival, a “Safe and Delicious Fruit” contest will be held with the participation of gardeners from 21 provinces and cities. Dong Nai’s products include Hieu Liem mango, Tan Trieu pomelo and Long Khanh rambutan.
A special feature of the event is a floating market made of 70 boats that sell more than 180 kinds of special fruits at prices 20-40 percent lower than market prices.
The event will run till September 2
