A food fair featuring hundreds of South Vietnam's dishes will be held at Dam Sen Park in Ho Chi Minh City from May 29 to June 1.
A food fair featuring hundreds of South Vietnam's dishes will be held at Dam Sen Park in Ho Chi Minh City from May 29 to June 1.
More than 60 restaurants, hotels, food and beverage enterprises in the city and adjacent areas will participate in the event.
Fair is aimed to introduce many various delicious dishes from the Mekong Delta, southern central and highland regions.
The food show also includes a gong music performance of the Central Highlands.
Entry tickets cost VND200, 000 (US$9) per person.
On this occasion, the organizer will donate VND100 million (US$4,700) to the Vietnam Marine Police Zone 2; VND30 million (US$1,400) to the fund “For the beloved Truong Sa – For Vietnam's frontline” by District 11; and VND20 million (US$950) to the program “Sentimental Attachment to Hoang Sa and Truong Sa” by Saigontourist Travel Company.
