Accordingly, street parades of 140 flower-decorated vehicles took place along the city's major streets on May 12.

Earlier, the Board and Buddhist monks, nuns and followers offered incense and laid wreathes at the provincial martyrs’ cemetery to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national independence.
As Buddhists nationwide are celebrating Lord Buddha’s 2558th birthday, the pagodas across the province has responded with numerous social and charitable activities. Bisides, the requiems to pray for national peace were held on this occasion.
