Under the theme ‘Don Ca Tai Tu – Love of Southern People and Land’, the six-day festival featured 21 activities, creating the first-ever space for Don Ca Tai Tu artists and lovers to gather and share their passion for the unique art form.
At the closing ceremony, art troupes from 12 cities and provinces across the country were also honored with prizes for their excellent performances at the festival.
Dong Nai’s art troupe won A prize for “Don Ca Tai Tu’s space” category, one silver medal for the troupe and another gold medal for its singers.
The second Don Ca Tai Tu festival is scheduled to take place in Binh Duong province's Thu Dau Mot city in 2017.
