With successful shots, shooters Le Thi Nga and Do Thi Trang respectively grabbed the gold and bronze medals in the women’s 10 m pistol (40 shots) event.
In the same event, three shooters Do Thi Trang, Vo Thi Ngoc Diu and Phan Thi Phuong Thuy, accumulated a total of 1,116 points to bring home the team gold medal and break the tournament’s old record.
Ealier, athletes Do Thi Trang, Le Thi Nga and Phan Thi Phuong Thuy also pocketed the team silver medal in the women’s 25m pistol (60 shots) event and broke the competition’s old record.
The annual competition offers a good opportunity for local athletes to sharpen their skills and provides a chance for coaches to select outstanding shooters for the national team.
The tournament will last until August 29.
