A number of leading German companies, including Bosch, Schaeffler, Bayer and Framas, have chosen Dong Nai as a strategic location for their manufacturing and investment activities in Vietnam. German businesses remain committed not only to investing in Dong Nai but also to introducing new solutions and technologies, helping strengthen the capabilities of the local workforce and promoting sustainable and responsible business practices that contribute to the city's broader economic development.

Germany currently ranks 14th among the countries and territories investing in Dong Nai, with investment concentrated mainly in industrial parks and economic zones. There are currently 13 German-invested projects in the city, with total registered capital exceeding US$287 million and creating jobs for more than 2,600 workers.
Although the number of projects and total investment capital remain modest, German investment is concentrated in key sectors, ranging from manufacturing and high technology to logistics and renewable energy, in line with Dong Nai's industrial development policies. These investments have helped raise production standards, develop a technically skilled workforce and strengthen supporting industries, while enabling domestic enterprises to gradually participate more deeply in global supply chains. They have thus made an important contribution to the city's socio-economic development.

According to Standing Deputy Chairman Nguyen Kim Long, Dong Nai is entering a new stage of development, with a new position, expanded development space and new governance requirements. Long Thanh International Airport has welcomed its first flight, while expressways, ring roads, seaports, logistics infrastructure, urban development and services are being accelerated, gradually creating an integrated and highly competitive infrastructure ecosystem. Alongside transport infrastructure and land availability for investors, Dong Nai is also focusing on technical infrastructure, human resources, public services, housing and living conditions, enabling businesses to invest with confidence over the long term and experts and workers to live and work in the city.
The city leader called on German businesses to continue choosing Dong Nai as a strategic investment destination, expand their operations, upgrade technologies, step up research and development activities, transfer management expertise and help train a high-quality workforce. He also urged German companies to strengthen linkages and support Dong Nai businesses in becoming qualified suppliers, while taking the lead in green production, energy efficiency, emissions reduction and the development of a circular economy.
For Dong Nai, the success of businesses is an important measure of the quality of governance and the effectiveness of public services. The city regards German businesses not merely as investors, but as long-term development partners in creating economic value and building a modern, civilized and sustainable business and production environment.
