Dong Nai has made clear that FDI projects must use new technologies, minimize environmental impacts and meet the city's criteria for selective investment attraction. The city is currently revising the planning for areas within a 5-20km radius of Long Thanh International Airport. The area around the airport will focus on green, environmentally friendly industries, technology infrastructure and logistics. The city also plans to promote trade and services and attract investment in commercial and financial centers around Long Thanh International Airport. Processing industries and heavy industries will be relocated to the Northern part of Dong Nai.

Dong Nai is also preparing a master plan for the entire city, which is expected to be announced in the fourth quarter, when the city will also step up investment promotion and call for investment in projects. The city is considering plans to develop urban areas that can meet the needs of experts living and working in Dong Nai. The city is confident that it can develop a full range of services to meet the needs of foreign experts. In addition, Dong Nai is ready to help businesses connect with universities, colleges and vocational schools to train workers and develop the workforce they need.

Given Dong Nai's overall development strategy and its long-standing relationship with RoK, the city leader hoped that the Consul General will continue to serve as a bridge between the city and RoK businesses. Dong Nai is committed to supporting businesses and focusing on resolving their difficulties and obstacles throughout the investment process, from investment registration to the start of production and business operations in the city.
