According to the organizing committee, the festival was also an occasion for Long Khanh Ward to celebrate the first anniversary of its establishment (July 1, 2025 - 2026). Beyond being an important local cultural and trade promotion event, it also provided an opportunity to look back on the ward's first stage of construction and development after its establishment, to strengthen confidence, and to inspire aspirations for development in a new stage.
At the festival's closing ceremony on the evening of July 1, Long Khanh ward announced the implementation of Resolution No. 11/NQ-HDND, dated June 29, 2026, issued by the Long Khanh Ward People's Council, on the establishment and reorganization of residential quarters across the ward.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Quang Phuong, Secretary of the Long Khanh Ward Party Committee, said the ward is gradually building a streamlined, effective and efficient political system that remains close to the people and better serves the community. Looking ahead, he said the Ward Party Committee would continue promoting the leading role of the trade, service, industry and construction sectors while accelerating the development of urban and high-tech agriculture integrated with trade, services and experiential tourism. He also called on every resident, business and orchard owner to become an "ambassador" promoting the image of Long Khanh as a friendly, civilized and hospitable destination to visitors from across Dong Nai City and beyond.
The 2026 Long Khanh Fruit Festival has helped reinforce Long Khanh's position as a locality with strong potential in agriculture, trade, services and eco-tourism, creating fresh momentum for the ward's continued rapid and sustainable development.
