The Nguyen Huu Canh Boulevard Project spans a length of approximately 15.5 kilometers. The route starts at its intersection with National Highway 51 in Long Hung Ward and ends at its connection with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway in An Phuoc Commune. The cross-sectional design conforms to the approved planning with a right-of-way width of 60 meters. In particular, the section from Vam Cai Sut Bridge to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway is about 7.5 kilometers long, representing a newly constructed segment according to the master plan.
The project will be implemented under a public-private partnership (PPP) using the build-transfer (BT) model. The Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board is the contracting authority, while Donacoop Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company is the project investor.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Dong Nai City People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut emphasized that the Nguyen Huu Canh Boulevard construction investment project holds vital significance, contributing to perfecting the traffic route from National Highway 51 to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway. The boulevard will create a new transport corridor between Dong Nai City and Ho Chi Minh City, helping reduce traffic congestion on National Highway 51 while promoting the development of new urban areas along the Dong Nai River.
The city leader instructed relevant localities and agencies to accelerate site clearance and resettlement work to ensure the project remains on schedule. The investor and contractors were also directed to meet construction deadlines while ensuring compliance with technical standards and quality requirements throughout the project.
