Under the plan, the Dong Nai City will launch and hand over sites for eight major projects, including seven transport infrastructure developments.

Accordingly, on June 30, Dong Nai will hold groundbreaking ceremonies for three projects: Component Project 1, involving the construction of the section from Ma Da Bridge to Ba Hao Intersection under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, as part of the route connecting Ma Da Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road No. 4; Component Project 1-2, covering compensation, support, resettlement, and the construction of frontage and service roads within Dong Nai City along Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road No. 4; Nguyen Huu Canh Boulevard Construction Project.

On the same day, the city will hand over land for the compensation, support and resettlement project serving the planned extension of the Ben Thanh–Suoi Tien Metro Line to the Dong Nai City Administrative Center and Long Thanh International Airport under a PPP model.

On July 10, Dong Nai will start construction on projects to upgrade and expand Provincial Roads DT.769 and DT.773, as well as the DT.770B road construction project.

On August 8, the city will launch construction of the Dong Nai City Administrative and Political Center.

According to the City People’s Committee, the events aim to generate momentum for implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU of the Dong Nai City Party Committee, which launched a 500-day-and-night emulation campaign themed “Solidarity – Discipline – Efficiency – Breakthroughs for a civilized and modern Dong Nai.” The activities also mark the one-year review of implementing the two-tier local government model and the operation of the city’s political system.

They further highlight Dong Nai’s achievements in developing a diverse, synchronized and modern transport infrastructure network, improving connectivity both among localities within the city and between the city and neighboring and inter-regional areas. The projects also support urban development and enhance transport connectivity to Long Thanh International Airport.

The ceremonies are expected to demonstrate the strong commitment of local authorities, relevant agencies, and investors to ensuring projects are implemented on schedule and meet quality standards.
