According to the organizers, the event brought together more than 300 domestic and international brands across a wide range of consumer sectors. Featuring 68 booths, the program showcased diverse product categories, including fashion, cosmetics, perfumes, luggage, handbags, jewelry, household goods, home-care products, and many other consumer items. A series of attractive discounts and promotional offers were available throughout the event, giving consumers access to quality products at reasonable prices.
Nguyen Phong, a resident of Trang Dai ward, said he learned about the Dong Nai Mega Sale 2026 through social media channels.
“After visiting the event, I found the booths offered a wide variety of products and designs, along with attractive discounts and promotions. I hope the city will continue organizing large-scale consumer promotion programs like this to provide residents with more modern shopping experiences,” he said.
In addition to connecting businesses directly with consumers, Dong Nai Mega Sale 2026 also created opportunities for companies to promote their brands, stimulate demand, and increase purchasing activity, thereby strengthening domestic consumption.
Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Linh, sales manager of Akemi, a Ho Chi Minh City-based brand specializing in bedding products, said the company brought a wide range of blankets, bed sheets, pillows, and mattresses to the event, offering discounts of up to 70%.
“Through the program, the company hopes to connect with customers, showcase new product lines, and expand its market presence in Dong Nai City,” she said.
Tran Duong Hung, Deputy Director of the DoIT, said the program not only provided residents with opportunities to purchase authentic, high-quality products at attractive prices but also helped businesses strengthen brand awareness, expand market reach, and engage consumers more effectively.
“Through this event, we aim to further spread the message of 'Stimulating consumption – Connecting businesses – Developing markets', thereby contributing to the growth of the city’s trade and service sectors and creating additional momentum for economic expansion in 2026,” he said.
Strengthening consumer engagement
Since the beginning of summer, many supermarkets and convenience-store chains across Dong Nai City have launched a variety of promotional campaigns and discount programs to stimulate spending and help consumers access quality products at affordable prices.
According to Trang Phuc, a representative of the marketing department at Co.opmart Bien Hoa in Tam Hiep ward, the supermarket is implementing the Vietnamese Family – Green Ambassador campaign.
Running from June 11 to July 11 under the message “Every family is the starting point of sustainable consumption habits,” the program aims to promote environmentally friendly lifestyles within the community.
The campaign includes discounts of up to 50% on a wide range of products, value-saving combo offers, and exclusive incentives for loyalty members, helping consumers purchase quality goods at reasonable prices. In particular, certified fresh-food products and items carrying the “Green Responsibility Tick” label are being offered through promotions such as buy-one-get-one-free deals and discounts of up to 40%, making safe food more accessible to households.
During the first five months of 2026, Dong Nai City’s industrial, trade, and service sectors recorded encouraging growth. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue were estimated at nearly VND186 trillion, up more than 16% year-on-year. This positive performance indicates a strong recovery in market demand and growing consumer confidence.

Huynh Hoang Huy, a resident of Tam Hiep ward, said the variety of summer promotional programs offered consumers more choices and better value. He expressed hope that, in addition to traditional retail channels, future consumer-stimulation campaigns and concentrated promotional programs would be expanded further through e-commerce platforms in Dong Nai.
Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Director of BigBang Trading and Service Co., Ltd., the organizer of Dong Nai Mega Sale 2026, said Dong Nai’s retail and commercial market holds significant potential.
“Now that Dong Nai has officially become the country’s seventh centrally administered city, it is entering a new stage of development with high expectations for urban growth, infrastructure improvement, and better living standards. Large-scale shopping events such as Dong Nai Mega Sale 2026 will help strengthen links between businesses and consumers while creating a vibrant retail environment for local consumers,” she said.
