In addition, the alliance has promoted innovation in consulting and public service support activities; supported cooperatives in restructuring production, applying information technology, digital transformation, developing production along value chains, and connecting product consumption. The mobilization of resources and increased participation of member cooperatives in collective economic development continue to receive attention.

At present, Dong Nai is home to 914 cooperatives, of which 669 are currently operating; 2 cooperative unions, with 1 currently active; and 1,088 cooperative groups.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang requested the City Cooperative Alliance to conduct a comprehensive review and assessment of all cooperatives and cooperative groups across the province. At the same time, it is necessary to clearly identify effective cooperatives, inactive units, those operating marginally, or those awaiting dissolution; clarify the causes, difficulties, and obstacles of each case to propose appropriate solutions, avoiding the situation of existing in name but without actual operations.

The Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee also urged the City Cooperative Alliance to continue demonstrating initiative and responsibility in carrying out its duties following the completion of its congress organization, scheduled for mid-June 2026. She called on the alliance to actively propose solutions that promote the development of the collective economy in a more substantive and sustainable manner, contributing to promoting Dong Nai’s socio-economic development.
