Nguyen Thanh Pham, Director of The Linh Co., Ltd. in Ho Nai ward: Supporting the private business community for sustainable development

Dong Nai’s transition to city status will create broader opportunities to attract investment and expand the business community, particularly private enterprises. In addition, upgrades to transport infrastructure and industrial parks will facilitate goods transportation. I hope that amid strong renewal and development, Dong Nai will continue introducing policies that support the sustainable growth of private enterprises. When businesses thrive, they not only provide stable jobs for workers but also make important contributions to local development.
Nguyen Tan Hung, Chairman of the Trade Union of Cibao Co., Ltd. in Binh Loc ward: Strengthening the role of trade unions as Dong Nai develops into a modern urban center

Watching the ceremony announcing the National Assembly’s Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai City, I felt a deep sense of pride and expectation.
As Dong Nai develops into a modern urban center, the role of trade union officials becomes more important than ever. Beyond caring for workers’ livelihoods, trade unions also serve as a bridge helping employees adapt to new working environments, improve skills, stabilize incomes and build a civilized urban lifestyle.
The locality’s development must go hand in hand with the sustainable development of the workforce, the people directly contributing to Dong Nai’s new identity. Trade union officials need to stay closer to workers, listen more attentively and provide more practical support so that workers truly feel they are part of the city.
Nguyen Minh Vuong, Director of Vuong Huong Trading and Services Co., Ltd. in Tan Trieu ward: Supporting the branding of local OCOP specialties
![]() |
Tan Trieu pomelo has long been a well-known specialty long favored by consumers. It is also among the few specialties of Dong Nai City granted geographical indication status.
In recent years, the enterprise has cooperated with cooperatives and farmers to develop growing areas for Duong La Cam pomelo and green-skin pomelo under VietGAP standards. Alongside investment in standardized cultivation areas, the company has attached great importance to building a brand for local specialties.
Accordingly, the enterprise obtained four-star OCOP (One Commune One Product) certification for Tan Trieu’s Duong La Cam pomelo and green-skin pomelo products, while actively promoting them through trade promotion activities. Beyond traditional distribution channels, the company has introduced its products through e-commerce platforms and social media so that these hometown specialties can reach consumers nationwide.
Both the enterprise and Tan Trieu pomelo growers hope Dong Nai City will introduce more dedicated policies and mechanisms to support OCOP stakeholders in diversifying products and upgrading certified items, thereby helping local specialties expand nationwide and explore new opportunities in export markets.
Le Thi Thong Vi, Deputy Director of AGRI 365 Agricultural Solutions Co., Ltd. in Ho Chi Minh City: Building a brand for processed cashew apple products

The company is currently a distribution partner for processed fresh cashew apple products made by Hoang Anh Cooperative in Binh Phuoc ward, including vegetarian fish sauce made from cashew apples, cashew apple shrimp paste, cashew apple juice and cashew apple wine.
We are deeply impressed by the model of utilizing fresh cashew apples, previously discarded, to create specialty products well received by the market. The company has not only purchased products for business purposes but has also become a member of the cooperative, deeply appreciating its dedication to producing these distinctive items.
We have also visited orchards to better understand farmers’ safe cultivation processes and were touched by how they carefully preserve and value every cashew apple that once went to waste. We believe these products hold tremendous market potential in both domestic and export markets, as the flavor of cashew apple is closely associated with the memories of many generations of Dong Nai residents in particular and Vietnamese people in general. For many Vietnamese overseas, it evokes memories of homeland. To help specialties processed from cashew apples and cashew nuts expand in domestic and international markets, we sincerely hope the city authorities and grassroots agencies will provide stronger support through policies, investment conditions and enabling mechanisms to help brands of cashew apple and cashew nut products from Dong Nai, Vietnam’s cashew capital, spread further.
Nguyen Tuan Khai, representative of the office of Luat Viet A Accounting Tax Co., Ltd. in Trang Bom ward: Policies needed to support small and medium-sized enterprises
![]() |
Entering a new phase of development, the business community expects Dong Nai City to maintain a favorable and open business environment, while continuing supportive policies on taxation, land access and capital assistance.
Dong Nai City currently has more than 70,000 operating enterprises, most of which are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The SME community hopes the city will continue introducing and expanding support channels related to capital, taxation and governance so that these businesses can grow stronger and grow and scale up.
Most SMEs still face limitations in competitiveness, operational efficiency and resources for innovation, technology investment and human resources, resulting in relatively modest labor productivity and limited competitiveness. Therefore, SMEs, particularly the newly established businesses, are looking forward to new incentive policies from the city in the coming period.
Such support would help SMEs keep pace with market developments, attract high-quality human resources and improve corporate governance.
Doan Ngoc An in Residential Quarter 4, Long Khanh ward: Housing and vocational training policies for young people
![]() |
Over recent years, enterprises inside and outside industrial parks and industrial clusters across Dong Nai City have attracted a large number of workers from provinces and cities nationwide. As a result, demand for social housing and worker accommodation in Dong Nai remains extremely high. The city should accelerate the implementation of social housing projects for sale or rental at reasonable prices for workers.
At the same time, to ensure the local workforce possesses the skills and industrial work discipline required by industrial parks, industrial clusters and enterprises, the city needs its own strategy to encourage vocational education and professional upskilling, particularly in occupations currently in high demand among employers. Only by doing so can local young people secure jobs close to home, earn higher incomes and benefit from affordable housing policies.
