Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 is the largest transport infrastructure project by investment value in the Southeastern region. The route runs through Dong Nai City, Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh province, serving as a strategic transport corridor linking the Southeastern region with the Mekong Delta and the Central Highlands.
The Ring Road 4 section in Dong Nai spans more than 46km along its main alignment and is divided into two component projects. Funded by the local budget, Component Project 1-2 comprises compensation, support, resettlement work and the construction of nearly 62km of collector roads and side roads.
Meanwhile, Component Project 2-2, implemented under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, will develop the project’s main expressway alignment, stretching more than 46km from Chau Duc Bridge to Thu Bien Bridge. Total investment for the project exceeds VND16.2 trillion.
To implement the project, Dong Nai City will acquire more than 443 hectares of land across nine wards and communes: Xuan Duong, Xuan Que, Dau Giay, An Vien, Binh An, Hung Thinh, Trang Bom, Binh Minh and Tan An.
According to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, the construction drawing design dossier for Component Project 1-2 is expected to receive approval in May 2026. Construction is expected to begin in June 2026.
For Component Project 2-2, Dong Nai City is currently carrying out an open tender to select investors. The project is expected to break ground in September 2026.
