Amid rising electricity demand during the dry season, authorities in Dong Nai are rolling out a series of measures to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system and raise public awareness of electrical safety.

Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade is intensifying communication campaigns to disseminate legal regulations on electrical safety through various channels. Meanwhile, the Department of Education and Training is working with Dong Nai Power Company to integrate electrical safety education into schools. This initiative aims to help students identify risks and prevent violations of safety corridors around power grids.

Following the province's directive, departments, agencies, and the People's Committees at the commune and ward levels are also intensifying propaganda and thoroughly educating officials, civil servants, and the public to strictly comply with electricity safety regulations, especially regarding safe distances from overhead power lines.

The province also requires electricity industry units to continue implementing measures to ensure the safe operation of electricity grid corridors; maintain round-the-clock operational duty and remain ready to respond to incidents to ensure a stable electricity supply; and step up patrols and inspections in areas at risk of safety hazards, promptly preventing electrical accidents.
