| The road linking Ma Da Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road 4 plays a crucial role in completing the inter-regional transport network and enhancing connectivity between Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City. |
Earlier in 2026, the Dong Nai People’s Committee approved Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment JSC as the investor proposing the project under the public-private partnership (PPP) model.
Under the proposal, Component Project 1.1 involves the construction of an elevated road section of approximately 13km passing through the Dong Nai Cultural and Nature Reserve, to be implemented under the PPP format. Meanwhile, Component Project 1.2 covers the construction of a connecting road from the elevated section to Ring Road 4, stretching about 31.5km and funded by public investment. Compensation, site clearance, and resettlement will be separated into an independent project, also financed by public funds.
In terms of scale, the project is designed with a completed road width of around 34.5 metres, accommodating eight lanes. In the first phase, however, the road is expected to be built with four lanes, spanning 20.5 metres in width.
In March 2026, the investor finalised the pre-feasibility study report for the four-lane option in Phase 1 and submitted it to the provincial Project Management Board. By early April 2026, the Provincial Party Standing Committee had agreed in principle to the investment plan with a full eight-lane scale upon completion.
The road project is considered highly significant in completing the inter-regional transport network, strengthening connectivity between Dong Nai Province and Ho Chi Minh City, and creating momentum for socio-economic development in the northern part of the province. In addition, it is expected to form a key transport corridor linking the Central Highlands and northern Dong Nai with Long Thanh International Airport and the Cai Mep – Thi Vai port complex.
