As of March 5, 2026, the disbursed capital for key projects in the province was over 460 billion VND, reaching over 6.5% of the plan.

According to the assessment, for key projects using public investment capital, the implementation progress has shown many positive changes recently, basically completing the public investment capital disbursement targets. Projects implemented under the PPP model are being carried out very quickly and have achieved many positive results.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Tan Duc stated that the implementation progress of key projects in the province has shown positive changes recently. However, some difficulties still exist during the implementation process, especially regarding site clearance.

To accelerate the progress of key projects in the coming time, comrade Vo Tan Duc proposed that the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Office report to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for opinions on consolidating the Steering Committee and the list of key projects in the province to direct, monitor, and urge the implementation.

Relevant units must urgently complete the construction of the critical path diagram for each project and report it to the Steering Committee for monitoring, inspection, and urging the implementation. This includes clearly defining the responsibilities and tasks of each agency, unit, and locality, and demonstrating the results with the specific progress of each project. At the same time, the relevant units must strictly adhere to the reporting regime.

For projects that have basically met the implementation schedule and resolved related difficulties, and are proposed to be removed from the list, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies and localities are responsible for the progress, quality, and effectiveness of the projects. For projects using public investment capital, relevant units must regularly inspect, remove difficulties and obstacles, urge and accelerate the implementation progress.

At the same time, relevant agencies and localities were asked to strengthen discipline and order in construction investment management, focusing on managing costs, progress, and quality of works. It’s necessary to proactively implement inspection, supervision, and prevent wastefulness and negativity during project implementation. When preparing planning and implementing site clearance for works and projects, there’s a need to ensure compliance with prescribed procedures and actual conditions of each project. In addition, flexibility should be applied in implementing steps during the process to shorten site clearance period while still complying with legal regulations.
