Completing approval of compensation plans for over 180 hectares of land for Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project

According to the Dong Nai Land Fund Development Center, as of now, for the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project, functional agencies have completed the approval of compensation plans for an area of over 180 hectares.

The Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway in Dong Nai province has a total length of nearly 64km. To launch the construction, Dong Nai province must recover approximately 423 hectares of land. Compensation and site clearance for the project are carried out by 4 units.

Specifically, the Thong Nhat branch of the Land Fund Development Center is responsible for compensation and site clearance for a section of nearly 16km, with a total land area of over 98 hectares to be recovered in 3 wards and communes: Dau Giay, Gia Kiem, Binh Loc, Dong Nai province.

The Xuan Loc branch of the Land Fund Development Center is responsible for compensation and site clearance for a 1km section, with a land area of 5.2 hectares to be recovered in Xuan Bac commune, Dong Nai province.

The Dinh Quan branch of the Land Fund Development Center is responsible for compensation and site clearance for a section of over 25km, with a land area of over 186 hectares to be recovered in Dinh Quan and Xuan Bac communes, Dong Nai province.

Project Management Board Area 11 is responsible for compensation and site clearance for a section of nearly 22km, with a land area of 132 hectares to be recovered in Phu Hoa, Tan Phu, and Phu Lam communes, Dong Nai province.

As of now, the Thong Nhat branch of the Land Fund Development Center has completed the approval of compensation plans for an area of nearly 81 hectares, reaching a rate of over 98%; the Xuan Loc branch of the Land Fund Development Center has completed the approval of compensation plans for an area of 5.2 hectares, achieving a rate of 100%; the Dinh Quan branch of the Land Fund Development Center has completed the approval of compensation plans for an area of nearly 95 hectares, achieving a rate of nearly 51%. Currently, these units are proceeding with payment to individuals, households, and organizations and receiving handover of sites for approved cases. At the same time, they continue to establish, publicly post, and submit for approval the remaining cases.

The Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway has its starting point at the Dau Giay interchange, Dau Giay commune, Dong Nai province, and its ending point in Phu Lam commune, Dong Nai province. The project is implemented under the public-private partnership (PPP) model, BOT (build-operate-transfer) contract, with a total investment of nearly 8.5 trillion VND and was commenced in August 2025.
