Dong Nai expands opportunities for businesses to access high technology

On December 10, the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Center for Science and Technology Market Development Promotion (Ministry of Science and Technology), held a conference introducing policies and certification procedures for high-tech activities: Opportunities for innovative enterprises.

Attending the conference were Nguyen Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, along with nearly 100 delegates representing provincial departments, sectors, units and enterprises across Dong Nai.

The conference featured presentations from experts on several key topics: policies and orientations for high-tech development and innovation; procedures and requirements for certifying high-tech enterprises; and the role of Dong Nai Province along with opportunities for businesses in high-tech development.

Delegates also engaged in discussions on related issues, such as: what enterprises need to prepare when engaging in high-tech development; roadmaps for upgrading research, development and intellectual property capacity; common challenges encountered in preparing certification dossiers; local businesses’ needs for technological innovation support; and the roles of management agencies, intermediary organizations and enterprises.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, emphasized that high technology is becoming a crucial foundation for economic growth. Dong Nai, as a key industrial province and a destination for many domestic and international corporations, must keep pace with high-tech trends and strengthen its research, development and innovation capacity.

Through the conference, businesses gained clearer insights into opportunities to transform production models, gradually adopt high technology and confidently participate in technological innovation programs. The event also helped strengthen connections among enterprises, academic institutions and management agencies, contributing to the formation of a robust innovation ecosystem in Dong Nai. The Department affirmed its commitment to continuing to accompany and support businesses in their innovation journey, technology adoption and competitiveness enhancement.
