After reaching the milestone of exporting 10,000 tons of chicken meat to the Japanese market, on December 16 at the Becamex – Binh Phuoc Industrial Park (Chon Thanh ward, Dong Nai province), CPV Food Binh Phuoc continued to announce its achievements in conquering the Asian market, as it was granted permission to export its first processed chicken shipment to Singapore and won three awards at the FMCG Asia Awards 2025 and the Manufacturing Asia Awards 2025.
An impressive milestone
The CPV Food Binh Phuoc plant complex was inaugurated at the end of 2020 with a total investment of 250 million USD. The facility operates as a complete closed-loop value chain, including animal feed production, parent breeding farms, hatcheries, broiler farms, slaughtering and processing plants, and by-product treatment.
After exporting to markets such as Japan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Laos, the company successfully conquered the Singapore market, one of the world’s most demanding markets, with strict food safety requirements and import regulations.
Pang Te Cheng, Consul General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, stated that in March 2025, Singapore officially approved the export of heat-processed poultry products, along with eggs and canned poultry (excluding beef) sterilized at high temperature and pressure. This approval is regarded as a significant milestone for Vietnam’s livestock and export industry. It is expected to open up opportunities for many other Vietnamese enterprises to access the Singaporean market, which is known for its stringent regulatory oversight and strict import standards.

“This milestone also holds significant importance for Singapore, helping to enhance food safety and security, especially as the island nation currently imports about 90 percent of its food consumption. Singapore values its cooperative relationship with Vietnam and looks forward to continuing to work alongside Vietnamese producers to supply safe, high-quality food to consumers”, emphasized Pang Te Cheng.
According to Wirat Wongpornpakdee, Senior Vice President for Food Industry and New Business Development at C.P. Vietnam Corporation (C.P. Vietnam), meeting the demands of high-end markets requires enterprises to maintain operational discipline consistently over the long term. In the coming period, C.P. Vietnam will continue to promote sustainable production practices and strengthen export capabilities, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese poultry products in regional and international markets.

“According to the plan, the company intends to expand exports of processed chicken products to the United Kingdom and the European Union (EU), contributing to Vietnam’s long-term goal of bringing high-quality agricultural products to international markets”, added Wirat Wongpornpakdee.
New opportunities for Dong Nai's livestock sector
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Van Thang, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, stated that Dong Nai is the leading province in Vietnam in livestock development. The province’s livestock sector accounts for about 45 percent of its agricultural production value. CPV Food Binh Phuoc’s entry into the Singaporean market not only reinforces the reputation of Vietnam’s agricultural industry but also opens significant opportunities for Dong Nai’s livestock sector in particular and for the country’s livestock industry as a whole.

“I hope that in the coming time, the company will continue to build on its achievements, strongly promote professionalism, and support and collaborate with livestock farms to form a supply chain and expand production, placing food safety as the top priority. This undertaking should be the core of operations, ensuring disease-safe production, environmental protection, green growth, emission reduction, and animal welfare.
Dong Nai province will continue to provide support and the most favorable conditions for the company’s operations, always accompany the enterprise, and determine that the company’s success is the province’s shared success”, emphasized Nguyen Van Thang, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment.
At the event, C.P. Vietnam announced winning three awards at the FMCG Asia Awards 2025 and Manufacturing Asia Awards 2025, including: the Sustainable Initiative of the Year Award for C.P. Vietnam’s SHE&En Management System; the Consumer Product of the Year Award for CPV Food’s ready-to-eat fried chicken products; and the Manufacturing Facility of the Year Award for the CPV Food Binh Phuoc processing complex.
