On November 1, the Dong Nai Department of Construction announced that the provincial People’s Committee had recently approved the addition of three social housing projects eligible for preferential loans under the VND 120 trillion credit program for social housing, worker housing, and the renovation or reconstruction of apartment buildings (the VND 120 trillion package).

These include the following projects: the Social Housing Apartment Building (part of the Planned Residential Area Project in Long Thanh commune); the Social Housing Project on a 1.4-hectare land plot in Long Hung ward; and the NXH2 Social Housing Apartment Project – Blocks A and B (part of the Residential and Resettlement Area Project in Phuoc Tan ward).

Previously, the provincial People’s Committee had announced five projects eligible for loans under the VND 120 trillion credit package. These include: the Industrial Park Workers' Housing Area (Nhon Trach commune); the Workers' Service Apartment Area (part of the Housing Development Project in the Bau Xeo Industrial Park Service Center, Trang Bom commune); the Social Housing Area in Bao Vinh ward; the A6-A7 Social Housing Project (Tran Bien ward); and the Hung Thinh Social Housing Project (Binh Phuoc ward).
The provincial People’s Committee’s announcement of eligible projects serves as the basis for banks to provide loans to both project developers and homebuyers in accordance with regulations.
