Notably, Gia Bao Group JSC in Binh Phuoc ward had six 5-star potential products: original cashew nuts, peeled cashews, skin-on cashews, Himalayan pink salt peeled cashews, Himalayan pink salt skin-on cashews, and a five-flavor cashew gift set.

Member of the PCC and Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang praised the proactive guidance and support from provincial departments, local authorities, and especially the dedication and determination of the producers participating in the OCOP program.

The conference results demonstrated that Dong Nai’s OCOP program is on the right track, focusing on developing local advantage products, promoting deep processing, and enhancing added value. The key strength of this round’s OCOP products lies in their use of locally sourced materials from the province’s key agricultural sectors.

Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang requested continued support from departments and localities for OCOP producers, especially those with 5-star potential products, to address remaining limitations and complete documentation for national-level OCOP recognition. She also encouraged OCOP producers to improve management capacity, strengthen business operations, understand market trends, use State support effectively, promote technological application and deep processing, and develop linkages with local raw material regions to form complete value chains, creating distinctive, high-value OCOP products.
