Reporting at the meeting, Le Thanh Dien, Deputy Director of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, stated that in late September and early October, the province successfully auctioned three land lots. For the remaining lots, the Center has issued 23 out of 37 "auction plans," with 22 already approved by relevant authorities. Detailed 1/500 planning is underway for seven lots, and the Provincial People's Committee has approved "investment policies" for three out of eleven.

The Provincial Land Fund Development Center made three recommendations: Localities should accelerate land acquisition and site clearance; the Department of Construction should promptly complete documentation for approving "investment policies" for residential land projects to ensure progress in preparing, appraising, and approving related dossiers; and the Provincial People's Committee should soon issue a revised 2025 "land auction plan" to replace the version issued earlier this year, thereby providing a legal basis for subsequent steps concerning newly added land lots.

Vice Chairman Ho Van Ha emphasized that land auctions in Dong Nai have resumed after a period of stagnation, marking an important development that contributes additional revenue to the provincial budget, sends a positive signal to investors, and accelerates the utilization of land resources.

According to the provincial leadership, Dong Nai has been assigned a target of achieving double-digit economic growth in 2025. To meet this goal, synchronized and effective implementation of various measures is required, including boosting budget revenue. The Provincial Party Committee has tasked the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee with striving to increase budget revenue, specifically from land auctions. To achieve this, it is essential to expedite all legal procedures to bring the planned land lots to auction as soon as possible.

The provincial leadership assigned the Department of Construction to prepare plans and monitor the progress of auction land lots that require detailed 1/500 planning. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center is to develop detailed 1/500 plans for the seven assigned lots; create a detailed schedule specifying expected auction dates for each lot; and review, consolidate, and classify additional or removed lots to assist the Provincial People’s Committee in issuing a new 2025 land auction plan.
