The National Quality Award is evaluated based on seven criteria: leadership role; strategic planning; customer and market focus; measurement, analysis, and knowledge management; human resource management and development; operational process management; and business results.

To promote the 2025 award, the Department of Science and Technology has sent invitations, provided relevant information to businesses, and conducted training sessions on the award’s criteria, guiding companies in aligning their practices with the standards set by the program. The department has so far received applications from three businesses: C.P. Vietnam Seeds Co., Ltd., Royal Fire Protection Co., Ltd., and An Loi Garment Co., Ltd., all of which have registered to participate in the 2025 award.

At the working session, the expert group and council members focused on discussing the evaluation results of the National Quality Award applications submitted by the three units. They also agreed on the approach for on-site assessments in the next phase.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Trinh Thi Hoa emphasized that the Prime Minister presents the National Quality Award to organizations and enterprises with outstanding achievements in production, business, and services. This occasion is the only annual quality award stipulated in the Law on Product and Goods Quality, issued in accordance with international standards, as part of the global system of quality awards. Enterprises that participate in and receive the award gain opportunities to access support policies and enhance the quality and competitiveness of their products.
