On the morning of September 27, the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new social housing project located in Tam Hiep Ward. Attending the ceremony were Provincial Party Committee members, including Nguyen Kim Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Truong Thi Huong Binh, Director of the Department of Finance; and Nguyen Tuan Anh, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment. Also present were Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Construction, along with representatives from various provincial departments, agencies, and local authorities.

The Dong Nai Housing and Urban Development Investment Co., Ltd. and the Dong Nai Housing Trading Joint Stock Company are jointly developing the Tam Hiep Ward Social Housing Project. The project features a U-shaped tower block comprising one basement and 18 above-ground floors (excluding rooftop technical floors and terrace levels), reaching a height of 69.45 meters. The development, situated independently on a 6,045.5-square-meter plot, is explicitly designed for social housing and includes 540 residential units. With a total investment of approximately 648 billion VND, the project is fully funded by the developers and is expected to be completed and operational in early 2028.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyen Kim Long emphasized that the Tam Hiep Social Housing Project is one of the key developments initiated to celebrate the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, as well as to welcome the 14th National Party Congress. He stated that the project serves as a vivid testament to Dong Nai province’s commitment to translating the Party and State’s significant policies into action, particularly the strategy of economic development closely tied to social welfare.
This project not only meets the pressing housing needs of workers, laborers, and policy beneficiaries but also contributes to urban renewal, the creation of a modern and civilized living environment, and makes a practical contribution to the province’s plan to develop 10,000 social housing units. It clearly demonstrates the shared responsibility and active participation of the business community and society in working alongside local authorities to improve people’s living conditions.

Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Kim Long, urged the consortium of investors to start construction quickly and speed up the project’s completion so it can be operational and serve the people as soon as possible. He emphasized that the province is dedicated to providing ongoing support and will create all necessary conditions for the project to be carried out in line with regulations on investment, construction, and environmental protection, aiming for completion in early 2028. Relevant departments, agencies, and the Tam Hiep ward authorities are expected to continue working closely together to overcome any obstacles and ensure the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
