(ĐN)- Dong Nai Department of Construction (DoC) has recently issued Notice No. 34/TB-Sxd dated July 24, outlining the inspection results and progress monitoring of Component Project 1 under Bien Hoa – Vung Tau expressway. According to the inspection team and relevant authorities, three high-voltage power line sites within the project area have yet to be relocated.

Specifically, two of these positions are located at the interchange between Bien Hoa – Vung Tau expressway and Vo Nguyen Giap street, causing obstructions to the construction of the interchange access roads. In addition, one unrelocated position at Km4+443 on Ham Nghi street has impeded the construction of the approach road leading to an overpass.
Therefore, the department has requested the project investor, the provincial Project Management Board for Construction Investment, to coordinate with the provincial Land Fund Development Center, Regional Project Management Board No. 5, and other related units to promptly relocate the technical infrastructure, including the high-voltage power lines within the project’s construction area, to ensure synchronized progress among contractors.
To maintain the project timeline, the DoC also urged contractors to proactively develop detailed daily and phase-specific plans for the supply of construction materials. These plans must meet the construction progress requirements of each work item. In case of difficulties or obstacles, contractors are advised to compile and report them to the project investor for further consideration and submission to the competent authorities for resolution.
The Department noted that recent heavy rains have disrupted the accumulation of key construction materials such as fill soil and various types of stone, resulting in construction delays compared to the signed contract schedule. In response, the Department requested the project investor to instruct contractors to reassess the actual conditions of construction sites, materials supply, equipment, and manpower. Based on these factors, contractors must revise and resubmit a detailed construction schedule. This revised plan should clearly outline the volume of materials supplied per day, as well as the deployment of equipment and labor for each specific task, and must be submitted to the DoC.
