Ma Da bridge project approved

(ĐN)- Chairman Vo Tan Duc of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee has signed Decision No. 283/QD-UBND (dated July 2, 2025), approving the investment policy for the Ma Da bridge construction project, with total funding of over VND 192 billion from the provincial budget.

The project aims to improve transport connectivity between the former Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces, forming a regional traffic axis linking the Central Highlands with Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep–Thi Vai deep-water port, boosting logistics infrastructure and socio-economic development.

The bridge will be built with a width of 20.5 meters and four traffic lanes in phase 1. The complete design includes a width of 34.5 meters with eight lanes. The project covers 1.32 hectares of land, including protected forest areas, and is split into two components: construction and resettlement.
