(ĐN)- According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, the province’s exports to the United States reached nearly US$4.7 billion in the first half of 2025, accounting for over 35.5% of its total export turnover. The US remains Dong Nai’s largest export market, with key export items including footwear, textiles, yarns, computers, electronics and components, vehicles, and spare parts.
To help balance trade between Vietnam and the U.S., Dong Nai enterprises have also increased imports from the U.S., mainly cotton, animal feed, corn, machinery, equipment, and chemicals.
Local businesses hope that the central government can negotiate lower U.S. import tariffs on Vietnamese goods—ideally below 20%—to reduce the burden on exporters.
